a new journey

So here I am back in Blog world, and I'm not sure why I have taken such a long sabbatical. Maybe it has something to do with school, I mean who knew being an Art Education major would have been so full of time stealing moments. Overall the time was both stressful and amazing. Now begins my journey as a graduate. This is why I titled my blog, a day in the life, because being a graduate is both a wonderful thing and a stressful thing. I hope you will be willing to be to walk this journey with me.

Who knew that once you had a degree, life doesn't necessarily get easier in the job department. It's stressful being stretched like taffy on a taffy pull. Stretched because I want so desperately trust the Lord to provide a job as I proactively fill out applications and send out resumes. There has been many times in my past where He has been faithful in provision, and it is those times that I remember and cling to as I move forward. His mercies are new EVERY morning.

Now don't get me wrong, there are some bonuses as well. Not only have I had the opportunity to reconnect with God, but I have had the opportunity to reconnect with the friends. It's been rejuvenating to my soul, especially getting to know Meg. Meg is one awesome girl, who has been a great addition to my life. Realizing that we both share the same passion for photography. There have been many an adventure. God has been good to me in this provision of friends and times of blessing and fun.

So this is it... one day at a time... a day in the life of a graduate...
